Hello and welcome to my blog about all things gluten free! I am Michelle. I have been happily married for 25 years to my wonderful husband. We have two amazing sons aged 17 and 20.
7 years ago both of my boys were diagnosed with celiac disease. A few years later, my husband also found out that he has celiac disease. While my celiac bloodwork is negative, I have a bad reaction to gluten. I may have non-celiac gluten sensitivity, therefore I choose not to eat it and feel better for it!
As you can imagine, I went crazy trying to make our transition to a gluten free life as easy as possible. There was so much information to take in. I was scared and overwhelmed. It became a passion of mine to learn as much as I could about living a good gluten free life.
I am here to tell you that it does get easier! Not that we don’t have frustrating moments. Of course, we do, but this lifestyle can become second nature. It will become less difficult as you gain knowledge. I started this blog to help others have a source of support and information that can help make the gluten-free way of life easier to navigate.
Please keep in mind that I am not a medical professional. While I do a lot of research for every blog post, it is up to each individual to make their own determination as to what is best for themselves and their family. Always consult your doctor with any medical questions.
Thank you so much for joining me here! I hope that you find this blog a tool in your arsenal on your gluten free journey!
XOXO,
Michelle
